  1. THIS SCHOOL WAS ABSOLUTELY DEMORALIZING

  2. Hey that’s me second from right ! I had been there a grand total of 3 days I believe when they shot that uplifting brochure. oh the horrible things yet to come….

  3. Christian Ralph

Thats me first person on the left. To this day i have mixed emotions of the school. As a parent, I would never put a child through the emotional torture……….Chris

  4. I was at cedu for a month I ran away and eventually was arrested and went to a normal boarding school. I am almost forty and the pain that cedu and my parents involvement hurts even now!

  5. Christopher Wallace

That’s me, page 4 shaking hands with Jim (I think). I was supposed to be holding a suitcase but it was the photographers equipment case. I was 16 then, 44 now with a teenage daughter the same age I was then. I ran 3 times and ended up at RMA in idaho. I have mixed feelings about the program but I would never put my own child through it.

  6. I was at Cedu for 4 months in 1987. Luckily I was suddenly kicked out. I have mixed feeling about my overall experience.

  7. I was at Rocky Mountain Academy in Bonners Ferry ID. I disagree I personally have them to Thank for this type of school. If they had not been there I would be DEAD today. I am sure I would have not made it past highschool. Yes thing were a little different, but I sure had some great times as well to this day have not done or experience. It gave me a chance to look at my part in things and take responsability verus blaming my parents for all things they or I did.

  8. Rick Garfinkle

I went there from 80-81 and ran away 4 times. The last time I ran away I made it to Vegas at the age of 14 scared out of my mind of being raped, beaten or killed but it was better than being there taking the punishment. I haven’t heard anything about profeet’s or profits. All night or 24 hour wrap sessions that they would blow a referee whistle if you started to dose off. They played a certain song every hour on the hour so that for the rest of your life you remember being berated for 24 hours straight. Gee, wonder why I ran away 4 times.
